Sales of subsidised medicines in 2023
In the report of the NEAK published data on subsidised pharmaceutical sales in Hungary, we analysed the development of sales in HUF and unit (number of boxes) in 2023. The recently subsidised expensive, mainly oncological drugs caused a dynamic increase in forint turnover, which did not bring any margin increase for pharmacies due to margin maximisation. [...]
